O’ Zapft is!! Join us in Columbiana on Saturday, October 7th for our 7th Annual Vogelfisch (Translation: Birdfish) Oktoberfest celebration! We’re open at Noon with our Bavarian style Märzenbier on tap and 300 custom hand thrown 1 liter (33.8 oz.) Vogelfisch Oktoberfest Märzen 2023 commemorative ceramic steins from Stray Cat Studio in Beaver Falls, PA. This is an optional stein inclusive available to the first 300 customers - Purchase a stein filled with our Märzenbier for $40 and the stein is yours to keep! There are multiple glaze color combinations available to choose from so come early to pick your favorite. Limit 1 per person.
German Beer, Food & Music ALL DAY for Oktoberfest!
Our seasonal 5.8% Oktoberfest will be on tap and available in 6-packs to-go. This Märzen, Vogelfisch, is a clean amber colored lager with sweetness up front followed by a nice hop finish.
Beer, Brats & Pretzels! Chef Michael Rohan and The Frytanic Food Truck will be setup all day serving bratwurst sandwiches and his gourmet fries. Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Truck will be here all day from 12-9PM as well.
The Bill Bevec Polka Band will be performing from 2-5PM followed by Gabriel Davis & Mike Rich with special guest Tim Harker on Saxophone of the Youngstown Horns starting at 6:30PM.
Listen for the Alp Horn sounding in between bands at 5PM and gather for the STEIN HOIST competition hosted by groß John Jitter. If you purchased a Stray Cat Studio Ceramic Stein, you’re able to compete in this event! If you did not get a stein, borrow one from a friend and fill with water or beer and be ready to hoist as competition begins at 5:30PM. We’re giving gift card prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers.
We coordinated with some of our local brewery friends so that you can hit an Oktoberfest every weekend and not have to choose!
