8th Annual Big LeBREWski Festival

You are entering a world of FUN! Channel your inner Dude at this year’s Big LeBREWski Festival happening Saturday, April 18th!

Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here! “The Dude” White Russian Imperial Stout — our annual collaboration brew with Youngstown Coffee Company will be back in cans and on tap.

We’re stoked for you to see what we’ve been cooking up with Akron Glass Works for this year’s fest! Custom, hand-blown rocks glasses — Shaped by fire, finished by hand, each one sand carved with LeBREWski art, and no two exactly alike. Because, well… The Dude Abides. Limited quantity. Fest exclusive.

We partnered with Westside Bowl and Havana House to make this year’s festival even more righteous. And as always, our homies at RAT Creative will be dropping fresh festival swag.

Early tapping of “The Dude” & “Over the Lime!” happening Thursday, April 16th starting at 4 p.m. at Westside Bowl. They’re planning to kick the celebration off right with live music from Left Lane Cruiser, bowling, Lebowski inspired pizza, happy hour and more. This party at WSB will continue all weekend with more live music from Gentry Blue and Meat Dept. on 4/17, Ringleader and Second Site on 4/18, Geo & The Storm on 4/19. Come for the beer and pizza, stay for the live music, bowling, White Russians, and more. Visit their website at westsidebowl.com or Facebook page at facebook.com/westsidebowlyoungstown for complete details.

Here’s what to expect Saturday, April 18th at BIRDFISH for LeBREWski Fest 2026:

  • Taproom opening early at 11 a.m.

  • “The Dude” White Russian Imperial Stout can release and tapping with optional Big LeBREWski one-of-a-kind hand-blown and sand etched rocks glass. Not exactly a lightweight... 8.5% — Limit 1 per person.

  • We’re also serving up the Sweet Prince’s White Russian Cocktail. That’s right! We’re mixing cocktails behind the bar for the fest… The Sweet Prince’s Kahlua, Vodka, and Half & Half from Ralphs.

  • “Over the Lime!” Speedy El Duderino Lime Lager on draft… 16 oz. pour if you’re not into the whole brevity thing.

  • “Where’s the honey, LeBREWski?” Honey Lager on draft… It’s down there somewhere, let me take another look.

  • “Walter (Dark) Sobczech” Czech Style Dark Lager on draft… Two oat sodas, Gary.

  • Park IPA on draft… if you don’t know this one, Obviously you’re not a disc golfer.

  • Is this your homework, Larry (Sellers) Birdfish? Big blonde ale on tap.

  • “Our doubles are over, dude” Belgian Tripel (BBT) on tap.

  • I'm finishing my coffee: Youngstown Coffee Company “The Dude’s Roast” Big LeBREWski Festival blend commemorative coffee TINS available this year for purchase while supplies last — the same coffee blend we use in “The Dude” White Russian Imperial Stout. Youngstown Coffee Co. will be setup on the patio this year sampling The Dude’s Cold Brew and selling commemorative LeBREWski 2026 Coffee TINS. Meet the local business that roasts the coffee fresh!

  • "The Maude" Sundog Ciderhouse Raspberry, Violet, Elderflower, Lemon Hard Cider on tap

  • Because you gotta feed the monkey, this is the day you eat at Two & A Half Greeks and Wagler Farms Food Trucks. Both trucks serving 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Totally 80’s Ice Cream Truck on the patio as well serving 12-8 p.m.

  • Check out the Royal Wii Bowling on the rug in the Ballroom — no drawing firearms during qualifying play! Open play all day. Grand champ high score for the day takes home The Dude’s Rug!

  • Live music from Rainbow Tribe from Noon to 3 p.m.

  • DJ Shortsleeves playing tunes in-between bands from 3 to 5 p.m.

  • Live music from The Blue Collar Band Soul Review from 5-8 p.m.

  • Costume Contest based on, like, our opinion, man. Come early and show off your costume to our wonderful bartenders. They’re choosing the winner this year! $100 Birdfish Gift Card to overall winner of the costume contest which will be awarded at 5 p.m. right before the Blue Collar Band set.

Havana House in Niles is celebrating Big LeBREWski Festival with us on Saturday, April 18th. They’ll have “The Dude” on tap and cans also available to-go while supplies last. Sunday Strings with Sam Winterberger

Join us in The Ballroom or on the patio this summer (weather permitting) every Sunday afternoon for a little acoustic live music - no cover charge.

About Sam Winterberger:

I'm a singer, songwriter, and guitar player from Western PA/Eastern Ohio.

My musical roots come from classic rock, Folk, blues and punk, drawing influence from artists like Robert Johnson, Taj Mahal, The Black Keys, Justin Townes Earle, Bon Iver and Lenny Kravitz.

Most of my recordings are at home, or in a larger scale home studio owned by a relative.

“It’s just for the joy of playing,” he says.

Winterberger is a “huge [Bob] Dylan fan” and was raised on classic rock but plays a variety of tunes—from Lead Belly, Eric Clapton, and Muddy Waters to Isaac Hayes, Billy Joel, and Pink Floyd.

“A huge part of what I play is ‘60s and ‘70s pop,” he says. “We just try to make it accessible and fun.”

4th Annual Greek Independence Day Celebration

4th Annual Greek Independence Day Celebration

GREEK INDEPENDENCE DAY

Birdfish | 2.5 Greeks | Canton Importing | Ethos

Greek Independence Day is about heritage, pride, family, food, music, and community — and we’re bringing all of it together under one roof for a day that feels more like a festival than just another Saturday at the brewery.

From traditional street food and a pop-up Mediterranean market to live Greek music in the Ballroom, this is a celebration of culture done the Birdfish way — loud, welcoming, and built around bringing people together.

We’re inviting friends from Western PA, NE Ohio, and right here in the Mahoning Valley to join us as we celebrate Greek heritage with incredible food, authentic music, and cold beer flowing all day long.

Come hungry.
Come ready to dance.
Come celebrate.

Opa!

Two & A Half Greeks Food Truck

  • Setup on the patio and serving all day 12-9pm

  • This family owned and operated Food Truck from Pittsburgh offers traditional Greek street food… sometimes with a twist, but it’s all great! Theo, Alex, Thomas and their family members will be in the truck and hanging all day - bring them a beer to the truck as they prepare some amazing food for y’all! Read more about this crew here: https://www.2andahalfgreeks.com/

Canton Importing Pop-Up Market

  • We’re stoked to welcome our friends from Canton Importing this year, who’ll be set up all afternoon for our Greek Independence Day celebration!

  • Owners Justin & Maria and her family, who are proud of their Greek heritage, will be bringing a taste of the Mediterranean right to the brewery with a pop-up mini Greek market. Expect shelves stocked with imported olives, specialty cheeses and meats, fresh pastas, traditional Greek coffee, barrel-aged feta, and hard-to-find specialty Greek foods that you won’t see at your average grocery store.

  • Canton Importing has been a staple for over 60 years—a Greek, Italian, and Middle Eastern grocery and gift shop located (you guessed it) in Canton, Ohio. Beyond the incredible food selection, they also carry international beers, and wines, cookbooks, kitchen tools, and unique gifts.

  • Learn more: https://www.cantonimporting.com/

Ethos - Live Music

  • Live music in the Ballroom from 2-6 p.m. with Ethos, a Greek band based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Inspired by their shared Greek heritage and motivated to keep the Greek music tradition alive and thriving in the United States for future generations. Nick Riley (Bouzouki), William Gary (Keys/Vocals), and Spiros Kourouklis (Percussion) play a mix of traditional and popular Greek music. They use their passion for the Greek music tradition to help maintain and continue to build the Greek community in America by bringing people together as they celebrate their shared culture & heritage.

Tundra Tuxedo | Craft Beer for a Cause: All About The Pawz

Join us Sunday, February 22rd for a beer in support of All About The Pawz, a local non-profit organization based in Austintown, Ohio. This year we’re brewing a collaboration small batch West Coast Pale Ale, called “Surfs Pup” and tapping it at Noon with an Arc Can Cooler glass inclusive for the first 144 pints poured. We will be donating 100% of proceeds from Surfs Pup beer and glass inclusive sales to All About The Pawz.

All About the Pawz is a dog rescue located in Youngstown, Ohio. Our shelter is run strictly by volunteers, and we depend on community fundraising and private donations to fund our mission of finding forever homes for all dogs. Our dogs come to us from overcrowded pounds, found as strays, or as owner surrenders. Many have been abused, neglected, starved, or abandoned; and they are often scared, hurt, sick, and in need of love.

Last year, Pawz & Pours was a huge success! We were able to raise almost $16,000 with the support of this community. We have exciting new things to offer for this year!

  • “Tundra Tuxedo” performing live music in The Ballroom from 2-5 p.m.

  • Kips Tacos & Toasted Traveler Food Trucks both setup on the patio serving from 12-7 p.m.

  • “BarkBar” set up to order a cocktail for your pup!

  • Tons of raffle prizes, including overnight stays!

  • Limited edition Surfs Pup / Pawz & Pours tshirt along with other merch will be sold at the event. We have Dog Goodie Bags again this year and they are better than ever!

  • Special appearances from adoptable dogs!

All fundraising proceeds help to provide care for our dogs and to pay for shelter expenses.  As a non-profit organization, we could not continue our mission without the help of supportive community members.

Our goal is to give every dog in our reach the chance at a loving, happy home like they deserve!

All adoptable dogs can be found on our Facebook page,

Randy Combs

We’re changing things up in 2026! We’ve got TUNES ON TAP live music in the front taproom with Randy Combs. Randy will be warming up the taproom and your spirits this winter with some tunes! Join him from 2-4pm. No cover charge.

Randy Combs is a singer-songwriter whose music has been decades in the making. He wrote his first song in 1996, but for years his songwriting remained personal—stories written, held onto, and quietly refined. It wasn’t until around 2020 that Randy began sharing his music publicly, marking the start of a new chapter as a performing songwriter.

That return to songwriting led to original tracks like Guns and Ammo, followed by 55 Grain in 2025—songs rooted in honesty, lived experience, and straightforward storytelling. Randy’s sound draws heavily from classic country and classic rock, blended with a handful of newer influences and his growing catalog of original material.

Whether performing covers or originals, Randy Combs focuses on songs that feel real and timeless—music built on grit, melody, and stories worth telling. After years of writing in the background, he’s finally putting his songs where they belong: out in front of an audience.
