RBI & Friends performance of WILCO’s Being There with Birthday Boy Brent Bregar on Pedal Steel Guitar!

Released in 1996, WILCO’s sophomore album Being There set the blueprint for the band’s future in musical experimentation. To celebrate its thirtieth anniversary, local musicians Ed Davis (The Vindys, Red Wanting Blue, The Tribbys) and Rick Blair (Rolling Boxcar International) assembled a group of local all-stars to perform the album in its entirety. RBI & Friends—Davis and Blair along with Tony Nigro (RBI), Christian Halford (RBI), Demos Papadimas, Brent Bregar (Hombres Pistola), and Rick Deak (The Vindys)—played the album at Youngstown’s Westside Bowl on October 30 and will present an encore performance of Being There in the Birdfish Ballroom on Sunday, November 29.
