Join us for a beer and fun evening of Karaoke in supporting 5 Star Global Ministry in Haiti on Thursday, August 21st. We will be donating $1 per beer poured to this organization and putting together some Birdfish swag for their raffle.

5 Star Global Ministry provides disability care and support services in Haiti, focusing on pediatric and adult therapy, surgeries, nutrition, education, and community outreach—particularly in underserved and rural areas. Their goal is to improve health, mobility, and quality of life for individuals and families affected by disability.

5 Star Global Ministry will be taking over the adult program for STAND in the month of September when they shut down. They have decided that all funds raised from this event will go towards launching an adult therapy program.

The 5 Star Global Ministry Team will be hosting a 50:50 raffle and Chinese auction with baskets from many local businesses and individuals.

Chef Prakash Roy of TAWA: Streets of India has teamed up with the Masala Grill Food Truck and will be preparing his famous South Indian Dosa with several filling options. Chef Shawn Sweeney of A Movable Feast Food Truck will also be setup on the patio serving from 4-9 p.m.

We’re opening early at 11 a.m. once a month for Bloody Mary Sundays! We invited De-Lishas Food Truck to bring their FAMOUS Bloody Mary Cocktails to the brewery. We have a full liquor license in the taproom and we’ll be featuring a Columbus, Ohio made Vodka from High Bank Distillery. High Bank Vodka is clean and crisp with a hint of sweetness. It is distilled from organic wheat and Ohio apples.

Let’s do an adult beverage and breakfast all in one! Head to the bar when you arrive to purchase your Bloody Mary ticket. Our bartenders will hook you up with a cup, vodka, and ice, then head to the Food Truck to get a custom made Bloody Mary mix of your liking and your toppers. De-Lishas will be offering 2 levels of toppers for the Bloody Mary, a BASIC and a DELUXE both priced accordingly. Tequila was aged 19 months in Thomas H. Handy Sazerac whiskey barrels, showcasing red pepper and cinnamon spice, dark chocolate, burnt caramel and smoldering oak.

Corazón is produced at the Casa San Matias Distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico using 100 percent blue agave from the highlands. Many factors play a role in the creation of these tequilas, yet inside the barrel is where all the magic takes place. That is what makes the Expresiones del Corazón line so unique. For this collection Master Distiller Rocio Rodriguez Torres experimented with aging tequila in barrels that once held limited whiskies, leaning on the Distillery’s more than 130 years of tequila experience and aging expertise. What she and her team discovered is that each barrel imparts its own unique flavor, creating one-of-a-kind tequilas. That tequila-making wisdom paired with Buffalo Trace Distillery’s dedication to making quality bourbon creates an exciting new lineup for this seventh release of Expresiones del Corazón.

The Expresiones del Corazón line has garnered a number of top awards over the years for various limited release expressions. Among top distinctions received over the past year, the 2021 World Tequila Awards named Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Añejo the competition’s Best Añejo. Join Golden String Radio in the Ballroom the 2nd Friday of every month from 7-9PM for some tunes, a little trivia, and FREE SOCKS! We’re donating $1 per per poured during the event to our Golden String Friends. Golden String will pass around an old Folger’s coffee can to support St. Jude’s Hospital in Tennessee. Golden String client, Susan Cramer, collects loose change for St. Jude’s. Susan, a friend with cerebral palsy, a woman with severe physical disabilities, rolls the change and sends it to Tennessee. Please bring your spare change to donate. We will clean off the lint.

Golden String Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit incorporation with a sole purpose to improve the quality of life for adults with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and traumatic brain injury. Ohio Pint Day is a fundraiser that directly supports the mission of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association: to promote, preserve and unify Ohio’s craft brewing industry.

Ohio Pint Day will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at more than 180 participating breweries across the state. Craft beer enthusiasts are invited to purchase a limited-edition collectible pint glass available exclusively at the participating brewery taprooms — we will have 100 of these pint glasses available when we open at 4 p.m. on Tuesday 9/23 which will be available for a glass inclusive pour of select beers on tap.

In partnership with OCBA member breweries and Boelter Beverage, $1 from every glass will be donated to the OCBA.

We’re opening early at 11 a.m. once a month for Bloody Mary Sundays! We invited De-Lishas Food Truck to bring their FAMOUS Bloody Mary Cocktails to the brewery. We have a full liquor license in the taproom and we’ll be featuring a Columbus, Ohio made Vodka from High Bank Distillery. High Bank Vodka is clean and crisp with a hint of sweetness. It is distilled from organic wheat and Ohio apples.

Let’s do an adult beverage and breakfast all in one! Head to the bar when you arrive to purchase your Bloody Mary ticket. Our bartenders will hook you up with a cup, vodka, and ice, then head to the Food Truck to get a custom made Bloody Mary mix of your liking and your toppers. De-Lishas will be offering 2 levels of toppers for the Bloody Mary, a BASIC and a DELUXE both priced accordingly. Join JD Eicher and his band in the Birdfish Ballroom on Friday, October 17th at 7 p.m. in celebrating 20 years of performing original music. These select shows will feature special guest opening acts and a unique set of music from JD - including solo and full band performances.

20 YEARS - A NOTE FROM JD:

At the end of high school and into college (20 years ago!!), I started playing my original songs for anyone who would listen. I played on campus (shout out Westminster!); I played in coffee shops; I booked random shows in garages and fields across Pennsylvania. And I just never stopped. The joy of writing music and then getting to perform it became the pursuit.

It’s been sort of a hot air ballon of a career - high highs and low lows and a winding path the whole way. But the band and I have been able to keep this indie project alive thanks to two things:

1. Stubbornness

2. The kind people who have shown up for the music

The support has meant the world.

We want to celebrate these 20 years with some special shows. New music, old music. Solo acoustic, full band. Stories, special guests.

I hope you’ll be there. You’re why we’re still here.

JD Eicher is an Ohio musician known for indie rock and alt-pop songwriting that features expressive vocals and meaningful, carefully-crafted lyrics.

An artist who tours in the US and abroad, Eicher has shared billing with a wide range of well-known acts, including Coldplay, Maroon 5, Train, The Zombies, Sister Hazel, Pete Yorn, Red Wanting Blue, and more.

With several full-length albums to his credit, JD was enlisted to create the soundtrack to bestselling author Nicholas Sparks’s (The Notebook, A Walk To Remember) 20th novel, Two By Two. Eicher’s song of the same name - “Two By Two” - was played on Good Morning America, and Eicher and the song are referenced in the novel.

He has since gone on to write his own novel and companion album (The Lights Along Majesto and the album Majesto Sessions) and to continue the trend of being a go-to producer of custom music for various brands and special projects.
