Sunday Bourbon Club

Sunday Bourbon Club 🥃

If you've attended one of our seated bourbon tastings or past Bourbon & Bluegrass festivals, you already know what to expect... damn good bourbon.

We're digging deep into our collection and bringing out single bottles we've been saving for something special. Rare bottles aren't meant to collect dust—they're meant to be shared. Some of these pours are nearly impossible to find, and buying a full bottle just isn't practical when all you're after is a taste.

Maybe your bourbon shelf at home keeps growing faster than you can drink it. This is your chance to cross another bourbon off your list without chasing allocations or standing in line at the liquor store.

On select Sundays, we'll feature a curated tasting of three bourbons, ranging from everyday favorites to unicorn pours. Taste them side by side and decide for yourself—is it all hype, or are these sought-after bottles truly worth it?

Purchase your ticket online in advance, then stop in anytime between 12 PM and 6 PM to check in at the bar and receive your tasting. Each event is limited to 23 guests.

Each tasting includes three 1 oz. pours. Enjoy them one at a time to sip, savor, and appreciate each whiskey, or have all three poured as a flight for a true side-by-side comparison.

Purchase tickets for each tasting here: https://www.birdfishbrew.com/tickets/sunday-bourbon-club

While you're here, grab a bite to eat from one of our rotating food trucks serving on the patio all afternoon. Check out the schedule at www.birdfishbrew.com/food.

You can also enjoy live music in The Ballroom: www.birdfishbrew.com/music

Purchased a ticket and can't make it? No problem. You're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend—just email info@birdfishbrew.com so we know who's coming.

No refunds. No rain checks. These bottles are getting emptied by the end of the day, so if you don't show up, you miss out.

A new lineup. A new story. Every month.

Craft Beer for a Cause: Purple for Palmer

Join us in the taproom and on the patio Thursday, October 15th for a beer in supporting Purple for Palmer. We will be donating $1 per beer poured to this local organization and putting together some Birdfish swag for their Chinese auction. They will also have P4P koozies for sale along with epilepsy info and other giveaways! Cool Cat Karaoke happening in The Ballroom from 6-9pm and Yummy Pita Food Truck on the patio serving from 5-8pm.

Purple for Palmer is a non-profit organization in honor of epilepsy warrior, Palmer Beasley.  Palmer was diagnosed with focal epilepsy at 8 months old.  At 14 months, she was found to have a rare gene mutation, causing her epilepsy.  Palmer has been seizure free for 4 years and because of all the support and love her family received during her epilepsy journey, Purple for Palmer was created to help other area epilepsy warriors.  Our mission is to support, educate, guide, and help anyone with epilepsy, their families, and communities.

All proceeds from events are used for a scholarship fund to benefit local teens affected by epilepsy as well as to help epilepsy families in need.  In 2025, an epilepsy warrior in the area lost her medical supplies due to a house fire.  P4P was able to help fund replacing her seizure monitor.  Purple for Palmer was able to fund 2 scholarships to Hubbard graduating seniors for the class of 2026.  We continue to grow our mission and hope to one day initiate more research for Palmer’s gene mutation, ARFGEF-1, as this mutation has little research and is prevalent in our area.

Craft Beer for a Cause: The Soldier Samaritan

Join us in the taproom and on the patio Thursday, August 6th for a beer in supporting The Soldier Samaritan, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity located in Columbiana, Ohio. It is 100% veteran founded, owned, and operated. We will be donating $1 per beer poured to this local organization and putting together some Birdfish swag for their raffle.

The organization’s mission is to fill a growing need in the local community. According to the U.S. census, 20% of our local children live in poverty. While there are many dedicated food banks and clothing drives to provide for basic needs, many of the social and emotional needs of our children go unmet.

The Soldier Samaritan’s mission is to meet those social and emotional needs in the form of providing high quality gifts during holidays and birthdays, providing funding for children to join teams, participate in clubs, receive lessons, and many other quality of life enhancing activities.

The organization is run by an all volunteer staff. All of the funds go back into the local community.

At this event we will have a Chinese auction with baskets from many local businesses and individuals.

Custom 2026 shirts designed by RAT Creative available with proceeds from shirt sales going to The Soldier Samaritan.

Saluting You BBQ will be setup serving from 5-8 p.m. on the patio and Cool Cat Karaoke will be setup in the Ballroom from 6-9 p.m.

Saluting You BBQ — Hi, My name is Joe White I am a Marine Corps Veteran. I have always loved to BBQ. In 2023 I was invited by an organization called Mission Zero One Hundred Hours to compete in The battle of the branches Saluting with smoke BBQ competition. That competition gave me the confidence to Start Saluting You BBQ. The first year in business we were part time doing only private events. I was invited to World Food Championships in 2024 to compete in The Battle of the Branches in which my team won. This pushed me even more and in March of this year I had our new Trailer custom built and now doing this full time. Our menu Is inspired by my time stationed in Southern California with a BBQ twist. We strive to continue to grow and serve our customers with wonderful BBQ.

G7 Piña Colada Sour Release + The Cookie & Crumb Sourdough Pop-Up + Movable Feast Food Truck

Join us in the taproom on Friday, July 24th at 5 p.m. for a NEW 5% Piña Colada Sour tapping and can release. It’s been a while since we dropped a new sour, and this one was worth the wait. 🍍🥥Loaded with over 250 pounds of pineapple and finished with just enough coconut to round it out, this tropical sour is bright, juicy, and refreshingly tart without being overly sweet.

The Cookie & Crumb is popping up in the taproom for another Brewery Series sourdough loaves made with “G7” Piña Colada Sour, bringing subtle tartness and complex flavor to every bite. Combined with carefully selected ingredients and long fermentation, these specialty loaves celebrate the best of both craft brewing and artisan baking. This week’s flavor are:

  • Caribbean Jerk & Cheddar — A bold, island-inspired sourdough made with Birdfish Brewing’s G7 Piña Colada Sour, bringing subtle tropical fruit and bright acidity to every bite. Loaded with sharp cheddar and warm Caribbean jerk seasoning, this loaf strikes the perfect balance of savory, spicy, and just a hint of sweetness from the beer. Incredible for grilled cheese, burgers, pulled pork, or toasted with butter.

  • Sourdough Hawaiian Bread — A soft, slightly sweet sourdough crafted with Birdfish Brewing’s G7 Piña Colada Sour for a subtle tropical twist. Rich, buttery, and lightly sweet with hints of pineapple and coconut from the beer, this loaf has the pillowy texture of classic Hawaiian bread while keeping the depth of naturally fermented sourdough. Perfect for sandwiches with A Movable Feast!! French toast, sliders, or simply warm with butter.

The Cookie & Crumb bakery is also teaming up with A Movable Feast food truck on a special sandwich feature on the Hawaiian Bread with A Movable Feast will be… Smoked pork, pickled veg (carrot, diakon, red onion, bell pepper), pate, cucumber, jalapeno, and cilantro. The perfect pair 😍

Writers talk about how and why they wrote the songs, and there are always lively stories and interaction between the writers, and audience.

Join us in the taproom on Thursday, June 4th for the tapping and can release of this amazing seasonal beer. This 7bbl (217 gallon) batch was brewed with 25 pounds of dandelions picked by hand fresh from Farmboy Cattle fields by the “zoo crew”.

Homestead on The Ridge Organic Plant Sale Pop-Up on the Patio

Still looking for something unique to add to your garden this year?

Come see us this Friday, May 29th from 3–7pm at Birdfish Brewery in Columbiana for our organic plant sale!

We’re Zac and Astrid Strong from Homestead on The Ridge, and since 2023 we’ve been growing organic plant starts right at our 1850 farmhouse. We love picking unique heirloom varieties — the kind you usually won’t find at regular greenhouses or garden stores.

Most of our seeds come from Baker Creek Seeds, and we’re especially excited to share some fun varieties, including a little piece of Astrid’s Peruvian roots with plants like Aguaymantos.

We’ll have tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, herbs, flowers, and more!

Grab a beer, cocktail, cider, or wine from the bar, walk through the plants, and maybe find something new for your garden. We’d love to see you there!
