The Don Tanner Band

Rock • Youngstown, Ohio

The Don Tanner Band brings together a seasoned group of Youngstown-area musicians around the original music of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Don Tanner. Rooted in straight-ahead rock & roll with touches of blues, classic rock, and melodic songwriting, the band pairs driving guitars and a veteran rhythm section with Tanner’s decades of experience writing and performing throughout the Mahoning Valley.

Tanner’s catalog includes the albums Are You Going My Way and It’s a Large World, a 10-song collection released in 2024. In September 2026, The Don Tanner Band released the single “Rock Me” through Cranked Up Records with distribution by Virgin Music Group.

Expect an energetic live set built around original rock music from a group of longtime local musicians who know their way around a stage.
