Singer-songwriter Demos Papadimas (guitar/vocals/harmonica/bouzouki) skillfully intertwines American roots music with Mediterranean influences. Based in Northeast Ohio, Papadimas has received considerable attention and created a dedicated following largely through live performances at many of the region’s best venues.
Discussing his influences, Papadimas cites Bob Dylan, American folk & blues, 60s rock and roll and Greek Rembetiko.
In 2021 Papadimas is preparing 3 new releases—a new studio album of original songs, a live album from Cedar’s shows recorded between 2017-2019, and an EP of Greek Rembetiko folk songs.
Papadimas’ ever evolving band still includes Ralph Rich on drums and you might see Dave Lynn on guitar, Corey Gray on bass, and Caitlin Hedge on violin. Or you might see Andre Ptichkin back on bass and Adam Murphy (of White Buffalo Woman) on guitar.
And maybe Al Moss on pedal steel?
Show up May 21st and find out for yourself…
