Here’s your chance to get “up close and personal” with many talented singer/songwriters from Northeast Ohio!  Join Jackie Popovec (singer/songwriter for The Vindys) on Thursday, July 15th from 6-9pm as she hosts a night of all original songs performed by several area songwriters. Each person will have a time slot of 15 minutes (roughly 3 songs).  They can choose to use all of the time or not.  Each writer will talk about how and why they wrote each song before they perform them.  Each songwriter can join in with the others, add harmonies, contribute a guitar riff, or just listen.  The stories behind the songs are often very interesting! This is a creative space for artists to dust off some old songs they don't usually play on stage or try out a brand new song that no ones heard yet!  To sign up for Writer’s night or for more info email youngstownwritersnight@gmail.com.

You must be invited to play by one of the hosts of the event.  Send a voice memo or recording of your original song to youngstownwritersnight@gmail.com  This is meant to be a very stripped down performance.  Please keep it to 1 or 2 performers at a time.  We will provide two mics and a cajon.  Bring your own acoustic guitar.
