lovers in reverse is the alias of singer-songwriter Casey El, who is backed by their band of Youngstown-area musicians: Blake Maurice on drums, Jett Ventresco on Bass, Nicholas DeWalt on Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals & Tim Dodge on lead guitar. lovers in reverse will be releasing their debut single “Mothman” on Halloween this year, with a second single & their debut album on the way this winter. Whether they’re performing at the esteemed Lock3 Mainstage of Akron Pride Festival or their favorite locally-owned Northeast Ohio venues, lovers in reverse boasts a unique aesthetic & musical flair that is sure to entertain and inspire you. 

Their music is indie-rock fusion inspired by ambient rock, dreamy indie pop & pop punk.
