Lea Marra & The River Boys are a high energy bluegrass/folk band inspired by a vast array of genres across the board such as country, bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk, jam bands, and rock. Lea brings her unique tone and strong vocals to her performance which is compared to vocal tones similar to Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Ray, Alanis Morrisette, Natalie Mains, Susan Tedeschi and at times Dolores O'Riordan. Marra's writing style is influenced by Sierra Ferrel, The Chicks, Hot Rize, Dolly Parton and Tyler Childers. Marra's songs speak about her life in the rustbelt of Cleveland, Ohio and the people she has encountered. Mara is inspired by the people around her as well as natures strong presence. The River Boys bring Marra's songs to life with their high energy grassy licks, memorable melodies, and five part harmonies at times. Lea Marra & The River Boys have accomplished a lot in the year of 2024 with the start of their first album released in March 2024, titled Ace Of Cups. After their release, it opened many opportunities in which resulted in them performing on many notable stages along side regional and local heroes.
