Greek Independence Day is about heritage, pride, family, food, music, and community — and we’re bringing all of it together under one roof for a day that feels more like a festival than just another Saturday at the brewery.

From traditional street food and a pop-up Mediterranean market to live Greek music in the Ballroom, this is a celebration of culture done the Birdfish way — loud, welcoming, and built around bringing people together.

We’re inviting friends from Western PA, NE Ohio, and right here in the Mahoning Valley to join us as we celebrate Greek heritage with incredible food, authentic music, and cold beer flowing all day long.

Two & A Half Greeks Food Truck 

• Setup on the patio and serving all day 12-9pm

• This family owned and operated Food Truck from Pittsburgh offers traditional Greek street food… sometimes with a twist, but it’s all great! Theo, Alex, Thomas and their family members will be in the truck and hanging all day - bring them a beer to the truck as they prepare some amazing food for y’all! Canton Importing Pop-Up Market

• We’re stoked to welcome our friends from Canton Importing this year, who’ll be set up all afternoon for our Greek Independence Day celebration!

• Owners Justin & Maria and her family, who are proud of their Greek heritage, will be bringing a taste of the Mediterranean right to the brewery with a pop-up mini Greek market. Expect shelves stocked with imported olives, specialty cheeses and meats, fresh pastas, traditional Greek coffee, barrel-aged feta, and hard-to-find specialty Greek foods that you won’t see at your average grocery store.

• Canton Importing has been a staple for over 60 years—a Greek, Italian, and Middle Eastern grocery and gift shop located (you guessed it) in Canton, Ohio. Beyond the incredible food selection, they also carry international beers, and wines, cookbooks, kitchen tools, and unique gifts.

Ethos - Live Music

• Live music in the Ballroom from 2-6 p.m. with Ethos, a Greek band based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Inspired by their shared Greek heritage and motivated to keep the Greek music tradition alive and thriving in the United States for future generations. Nick Riley (Bouzouki), William Gary (Keys/Vocals), and Spiros Kourouklis (Percussion) play a mix of traditional and popular Greek music. They use their passion for the Greek music tradition to help maintain and continue to build the Greek community in America by bringing people together as they celebrate their shared culture & heritage.
