Join us Friday, October 7th at 7 p.m. for a very special barrel aged sour bottle release and beer tapping. The Golden String / Purple Cat crew brought us 5 pounds of fruit punch Jolly Ranchers from Touch the Moon Candy Saloon a few months ago which we put into a single barrel golden sour. This collaboration beer will be released on a Boozin’ & Groovin’ Analog Vinyl Night with Golden String Radio DJs with 100% of proceeds from the draft sour sales and bottle sales being donated to the Gabba Camp project at Purple Cat Farm.

Golden String Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit incorporation with a sole purpose to improve the quality of life for adults with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and traumatic brain injury. Golden String specifically aims at improving vocational and social opportunities for our friends with disabilities. Golden String runs programs such as goldenstringradio.org, a radio station run by adults with disabilities, Joe Gallagher’s lunch bucket, a restaurant run by adults with disabilities, Gabbacamp, an overnight camp for adults with disabilities, and the Feral Cats, a rock and roll band consisting of adults with disabilities. Golden String provides services in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull in Ohio and Lawrence and Mercer Counties in Pennsylvania.
