Join us Sunday, October 27th for a beer in supporting Vail’s Voice, a local non-profit foundation supporting pediatric patients diagnosed with serious or prolonged illnesses. We brewed a NEW seasonal special collaboration beer this year named Vail’s Autumn Ale with the Rohan family and friends which will be on tap and available in cans at Noon on Sunday when we open. Optional Vail’s Autumn Ale 16 oz. Craft Master Grand glass inclusive with the first 144 pints poured! A portion of proceeds from both draft and can sales will be donated to the foundation. This is a new can label and glass release with artwork from Dan & Renee McRoberts of RAT Creative (Lisbon, Ohio). Birdfish Vail’s Autumn Ale tee shirts printed by RAT Creative will also be available the day of the event with 100% of proceeds going to the foundation.
Don’t worry, we’ll have the Browns v Ravens game on in the front taproom and Ballroom starting at 1pm. Come dressed up in your favorite Cleveland Browns gear or your Halloween costume. Bring the kids and walk thru the grain bin silo/gazebo when you arrive for trick-or-treat. The Frytanic Food Truck and A Taste of Lariccia’s will be setup from noon to 7 p.m. and donating a portion of proceeds to Vail’s Voice foundation as well.
This year, Vail’s Voice Foundation is collaborating with High Bank Distillery in Columbus, Ohio for a single barrel whiskey pick experience. Purchase a raffle ticket from a Vail’s Voice representative on Sunday, October 27th for a chance to be 1 of 10 (5 tix will be pulled total — each ticket gets 2 seats, one for you and one for a guest) individuals invited to Columbus to help taste and select a double oaked single barrel whiskey that will be private labeled for Vail’s Voice Foundation. The winners of this experience will also be a part of a party bus trip to the distillery and will be provided with a private tasting and tour along with dinner at High Bank’s restaurant. With the first 200 raffle tickets sold, you will be guaranteed a bottle of the Vail’s Voice Single Barrel Double Oaked Whiskey. Need help deciding if this whiskey is right for you? This fundraising event has the biggest and best basket raffle items of the year with 100% of ticket sales being donated to Vail’s Voice Foundation. Come early on Sunday, October 27th between Noon and 4pm to purchase raffle ticket and support this great local non-profit organization. VAIL’S VOICE MISSION: Vail’s Voice is a nonprofit foundation established to assist pediatric patients diagnosed with serious or prolonged illnesses and their families. Our Foundation’s namesake, Vail Marie Rohan was born on August 10, 2020. While in utero, she was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Congenital Heart Disease. A warrior from the beginning, Vail has already battled several unimaginable obstacles in her young life. She developed a severe illness in January 2021 that required indefinite hospitalization with multiple procedures and surgeries and has required in-home nursing and therapies since her return home in June 2021. Finally, in January 2022, she received successful life-saving heart surgery. The trajectory of her condition remains unknown; however, her spirit remains steadfast and strong and she continues to defy odds. Though Vail cannot physically speak, her soul is a resounding reminder to have faith in her fight; to fight alongside her and other families like her own. We formed “Vail’s Voice” to tell the stories of her fellow warriors and to share in their fight.
