We’re thrilled to present the 2nd Annual SoundWaves & IPAs Music Festival in support of The Summit FM Marilyn Stroud Music Alive Program happening this year on Saturday, July 22nd. Expect to hear live music from local bands and musicians all day rotating on two different stages along with an impressive selection of new and returning IPAs. Get here early for a limited edition SoundWaves & IPAs Too Hip To Sip pottery pint, hand made in Beaver Falls, PA by Stray Cat Studio — this optional pint inclusive is available for the first 150 IPAs poured.
The Music Alive program was formed by The Summit FM to help young musicians in our local schools realize their dreams and learn the joys of playing an instrument. Through this program, The Summit collects and repairs instruments, and sees they get placed in the hands of kids who will truly appreciate them.
Do YOU have an unloved, dusty and forgotten “gently used” musical instrument in your attic, closet or basement? There are dozens of kids who’d love the chance to learn to play it… kids whose families simply can’t afford the expense of buying their child a musical instrument. Bring these instruments to the SoundWaves & IPAs event on Saturday, July 22nd for donation. The Summit staff will be here to collect these instruments and make sure they get to kids who need them. If you don’t have an instrument to donate, no worries… come out anyways, there are still ways to support! There is a suggested $10 entry fee to see live music all day on our two stages and 100% of this entry fee will be donated to this Summit program. We have 10 bands/musicians playing throughout the day and a lot of IPAs on tap and releasing in cans:
