Biography: Sarah Lindsay Peterson recently published her first novel, A War Through Destiny, in July of 2025, following a 20 year writing experience and rewriting AND REWRITING experience. A New Middletown born native, Sarah Lindsay Peterson began the book at just 11 years old. Inspired by a passion that never died out and guided by the call of her purpose, Sarah hopes her books will inspire others to find hope in their own unique journeys.    

Summary of Book: If beauty could paint itself, it would take the form of a freshly fallen snow on a daring yet, inviting mountain top, surrounded by important pines and natures stoic presence. If serenity could meet joy and passion, they would do so exploring their purposes on the ancient, cobblestone streets, lined with whispers of encouragement, of reassurance, and of gratitude. And if The Spirits could tell the tale of all that was to come: who would rule, who would protect, who would educate..then Dukhovia would exist in faultless, content bliss. And so it did. Until greed, murder, deceit, and war forever changed the country's destiny. 

Stacy Grace Matthews has always felt drawn to her home country of Dukhovia. The snow. The tradition. The peace. But, living in modern-day America ever since her family's long-ago banishment, she has spent more time longing for answers than receiving them. This problem only intensifies when she begins having a recurrent dream telling her to protect the heir of Dukhovia. Confused but intent on finding out the meaning of this dream, the pursuit becomes her duty and her purpose. 

Nicholas Tyler Andrews has had the privilege to be born and raised in Dukhoyid and has found it be anything but the jubilant bliss his ancestors deemed it to be. Then again, his ancestors do carry the burdens of responsibility for the countrys downfall. Desperate to regain his family honor. Nicholas will do anything Dukhovia's ruthless leader demanes of him-even if that very thing includes finding and destroying Dukhovias only potential savior: the American-raised heir, Stacy Graceye Matthews.
