It’s been a while since we dropped a new sour, and this one was worth the wait. 🍍🥥Loaded with over 250 pounds of pineapple and finished with just enough coconut to round it out, this tropical sour is bright, juicy, and refreshingly tart without being overly sweet.
The Cookie & Crumb is popping up in the taproom for another Brewery Series sourdough loaves made with “G7” Piña Colada Sour, bringing subtle tartness and complex flavor to every bite. Combined with carefully selected ingredients and long fermentation, these specialty loaves celebrate the best of both craft brewing and artisan baking. This week’s flavor are:
Caribbean Jerk & Cheddar — A bold, island-inspired sourdough made with Birdfish Brewing’s G7 Piña Colada Sour, bringing subtle tropical fruit and bright acidity to every bite. Loaded with sharp cheddar and warm Caribbean jerk seasoning, this loaf strikes the perfect balance of savory, spicy, and just a hint of sweetness from the beer. Incredible for grilled cheese, burgers, pulled pork, or toasted with butter.
Sourdough Hawaiian Bread — A soft, slightly sweet sourdough crafted with Birdfish Brewing’s G7 Piña Colada Sour for a subtle tropical twist. Rich, buttery, and lightly sweet with hints of pineapple and coconut from the beer, this loaf has the pillowy texture of classic Hawaiian bread while keeping the depth of naturally fermented sourdough. Perfect for sandwiches with A Movable Feast!! French toast, sliders, or simply warm with butter.
The Cookie & Crumb bakery is also teaming up with A Movable Feast food truck on a special sandwich feature on the Hawaiian Bread with A Movable Feast will be… Smoked pork, pickled veg (carrot, diakon, red onion, bell pepper), pate, cucumber, jalapeno, and cilantro. The perfect pair 😍
