Join us at Beaver Creek State Park on Saturday, May 2nd for a Kayak Crawl fundraiser supporting the creation of an all-accessible playground in our beautiful local state park.
We’re partnering with Friends of Beaver Creek, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, who will be pulling the permit so we can serve beer in the park following your kayak ride down Beaver Creek.
Don’t have a kayak? No worries — kayaks and shuttle service are available and included with select tickets.
100% of the below kayak and guided hike ticket sales, along with beer sales will be donated directly to the Playground Project.
Ticket Options – All adult kayak and adult guided hike tickets include (2) 16 oz. pints of Birdfish beer (Must be 21 y/o with proof of valid ID upon request), brewed with Columbiana County grown Yarian Quality Malts. Birdfish Beer tent will be open from 1-5 PM in the park. Beer will be served after your kayak ride and/or guided hike. Kayak shuttle service starts at Noon, but feel free to arrive as early at 11:30 AM. Last shuttle departs at 1 PM.
Adult [Age 21 & Older] — Kayak, paddles, life jacket, & shuttle service included: $40
Kid & Adult [Age Under 21] — Kayak, paddles, life jacket, & shuttle service included (Must be 14 and older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian): $30

Kid & Adult [Age Under 21] — Shuttle Service Only: $15

Float Time: Approximately .5–1.5 hours depending on water level
Kip’s Taco Food Trailer will be set up in the park near the beer tent. They will be serving from 1-5 p.m. and donating a portion of proceeds from food sales to the Friends of Beaver Creek Playground Project.
Live music from 1:30-5 p.m. from Rory McClellan SOLO Bluegrass Project
Pre-registration is required - Online registration only. No same-day kayak registrations.
This is a family-friendly event featuring guided hikes and guided Pioneer Village tours. Same day signup for FREE Pioneer Village Tours lead by the Friends of Beaver Creek. Additional beer will be available for purchase from 1-5 PM, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the park playground project. Any/all welcome to join us in the park for a beer (Must be 21 y/o with proof of valid ID upon request) and support The Friends of Beaver Creek and this playground project. This is a rain or shine fundraiser, and no refunds will be given due to weather, water conditions, or other circumstances. We’re crossing our fingers for ideal floating conditions, but either way, we’ll still be drinking beer in the park.
