Live Music Revival

Local music has been a focal point for our brewery since first opening our small tasting room in Columbiana, Ohio.  Since first opening our doors we brought in local artists to perform every Friday and Saturday at the Main Street location.  This filled a void in the Columbiana area by having it’s own local musicians and others from the surrounding Youngstown area.

Local music has been hit hard during the pandemic, much like various businesses and industries.  Because this was a focal point of our onsite taproom brewery, we have tried to find ways to bring back local music as much as possible during the pandemic.  In the summer months, we were able to host pop-up singer/songwriter acoustic shows on our patio to provide a sense of normalcy and entertainment that many of our patrons desire.  Our pop-up acoustic shows featured The Conkle Brothers, J.D. Eicher, and Sister Luna to name a few.

We have a found a new way to provide the greater Youngstown area with the recent expansion of our Ballroom area in the Columbiana taproom.  This new offering provides an intimate setting for patrons to enjoy a two hour experience with local musicians playing all original music.  The setting is COVID friendly with tickets available for presale so that a group of friends can enjoy the experience together.  Since first starting the new signer/songwriter experience in the Ballroom we have held the following shows, most of which have been sold our shows:

1.       Julia Cooper (two sold out shows back to back)

2.       Hayden Brooke and Lexi Kays

3.       Leo D’Angelo (two sold out shows back to back)

4.       Whiskey Pilot

5.       Ryan Blakeman and The Conkle Brothers

Upcoming shows will feature:

1.       The Conkle Brothers – February 10th

2.       Swap Meet – February 11th

3.       On the Rocks and Matt Carson – February 17th (SOLD OUT)

4.       The Labra Brothers – February 24th

5.       Brent Bregar & The Stinkin’ River Bank – March 3rd

6.       Mike Rich and Gabriel Davis – March 4th

7.       Anna Kathleen – March 10th

8.       Davis & Company – April 1st

All of the ticket proceeds go to the musicians that perform.  As a brewery that focuses on live music we wanted to be able to support the local musicians that have long supported our stage.  Our goal with this program is to bring live local music back to our patrons and to support an industry that has been severely impacted by COVID-19.
